$15 target for XRP as Ripple wins final bank approval on October 26
Ripple gained final U.S. approval for its national trust bank, which is a significant development ahead of Swell 2026.

The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) granted final approval for Ripple National Trust Bank on October 26. This decision concludes a process that began with conditional approval in December 2025.
This milestone bolsters Ripple’s standing within regulated finance. The new bank will manage segregated reserves supporting Ripple USD (RLUSD), offer fiduciary digital asset custody services, and function as a collateral trustee for RLUSD holders.
RLUSD will continue to be issued by Standard Custody & Trust Company under New York regulation. The increased federal oversight strengthens the regulatory framework for Ripple’s stablecoin and institutional services.
Ripple reported that RLUSD has reached a $2.5 billion market cap since its December 2024 launch. Brad Garlinghouse stated, "We’ve always said crypto and banks work better together."
Technical analyst Javon Marks has projected a bullish target of $15 for XRP. He based this by applying the 2,872% gain from XRP's July 2026 breakout to its November 2024 breakout point near $0.50.
XRP ETFs have seen $1.8 billion in cumulative net inflows, providing a major avenue for institutional exposure. Between October 19 and October 23, XRP ETFs recorded $4.3 million in net inflows, including $3.5 million on October 22.
Ripple’s annual conference, Swell, is scheduled for October 27–29 in New York. This event will feature discussions on capital markets, stablecoins, and crypto ETFs, with Ripple expecting over 1,500 attendees.
The national trust bank approval strengthens Ripple’s position in the U.S. financial system. This, combined with the over $1.8 billion in cumulative XRP ETF inflows, sets the stage for potential institutional demand discussions at Swell.
