260K lost from 19 Predict Fun users in ongoing draining incident

The platform Predict Fun, which is a prediction market operating within the BNB ecosystem, has seen nineteen users lose approximately $260,000 in what appears to be an ongoing draining event, with indications that further losses may occur.

Crypto analyst "Dethective" asserted on Tuesday that they had experienced a drainage of about $5,000 connected to Predict Fun, noting that the assets were moved first to Ethereum and subsequently to the crypto mixer Tornado Cash. "I think there's something wrong going on with Predict Fun and I am not the only victim," stated Dethective.

Subsequently, another crypto analyst, "Naeven," tracked the assets taken from nineteen individuals using Predict Fun, estimating the total loss at 105 ETH, which equates to roughly $260,000. Naeven posted, "I've identified 19 victims who have been drained of a total of 105 ETH (~$260K). There are… https://t.co/g9WkMddX7n pic.twitter.com/PJnGem0TGv" on October 27, 2026. This observation supports the suspicion that issues are present with @predictdotfun, as multiple accounts are being drained, with funds being routed to Ethereum and then onward to Tornado Cash.

Naeven further cautioned users, adding, "There are likely more victims," and advised those still holding funds within Predict Fun to move them out.

Predict Fun functions as a prediction market similar to Polymarket and is a creation of CZ's investment firm. It is designed to serve Binance's BNB ecosystem. Furthermore, Binance founder Changpeng Zhao provided backing for the platform, acknowledging that YZI Labs, previously known as Binance Labs, had incubated and invested in it. DefiLlama, a crypto tracker, reports that Predict Fun's earnings for 2026 are slightly over $9 million.

Protos has contacted Predict Fun seeking a statement and intends to update this report if any response is received. The initial appearance of the post detailing the $260K loss among Predict Fun users was on Protos.
