Grvt subscribes to Mirae Asset Securities tokenised funding notes in October 2026
On October 27th, 2026, Mirae Asset Securities and Grvt initiated a partnership.

This collaboration commenced with Grvt purchasing tokenised funding notes from Mirae Asset Securities. Future tokenised products, such as ETFs, corporate bonds, and Treasuries, could be examined pending regulatory adherence.
Mirae Asset Securities (HK) Limited, which is the Hong Kong subsidiary of Korea's prominent securities firm, arranged the issuance of these tokenised funding notes through its affiliate’s structured notes program, which Grvt subscribed to. Grvt plans to utilize the resulting exposure in connection with Grvt Earn, provided all relevant stipulations are met.
Grvt Earn is offered and runs separately by Grvt, being accessible solely to qualified users within permitted regions. Grvt has committed to purchasing the notes. Any utilization of the derived exposure via Grvt Earn is managed and determined independently by Grvt.
The initial step involves the tokenised funding notes. Subsequently, the two entities will explore other tokenised items, including Treasuries and ETFs, on a non-committed and exploratory basis, contingent upon product/compliance clearance and applicable regulatory approvals.
Mirae Asset Financial Group manages over US$1 trillion in client assets globally as of Sep 2026. The firms intend to investigate opportunities involving certain tokenised products, subject to applicable regulatory mandates.
Hong Yea, Co-founder and CEO, Grvt stated, “When Korea's leading securities firm explores opportunities in tokenised assets, collaboration with market participants plays an important role. Grvt’s subscription to Mirae Asset Securities’ tokenised funding notes marks an initial step in this collaboration. Together, we intend to explore opportunities involving tokenised Treasuries, corporate bonds and, over time, ETFs for eligible investors in permitted jurisdictions, subject to applicable regulatory requirements.”
Kelly Sohn, Head of Digital Assets, Mirae Asset Securities (HK) Limited remarked, “We see tokenisation as an important area of development for capital markets. Grvt’s subscription to this tokenised funding note issuance represents an opportunity to explore the use of tokenised securities in new market structures. We look forward to exploring further opportunities.”
Mirae Asset Securities (HK) Limited has rapidly connected traditional finance and digital assets in 2026. It became the first Korean securities firm to issue digital bonds in Hong Kong in January. In April, it was the first Korean-owned brokerage to secure Securities and Futures Commission (“SFC”) approval for offering digital asset trading to retail investors.
